I am a trauma informed and trained therapist. Trauma is often woven into the fabric of our lives through betrayal, failed attachments in relationships, experiencing abuse, multiple losses and grief, and shattered relationships. Sometimes trauma can make it difficult to create emotionally and physically healthy boundaries to help protect ourselves.

Trauma is not just the experience, it is also how we perceive the events and what we begin to believe about ourselves and the world around us because of these events. As a result of trauma, we can begin to experience depression, PTSD, anxiety, and health issues.
